Black Cats on the Track
The third week of the current SRS championship goes to the archives for the 4Fun guys, and it was filled with sweat, smoke and speed as usual, and also with good results for the team (well, they guys are getting used to good results, isn’t it?). But first of all space to Omer Kinay, that after a long time comes back with his hotlap videos and track guides on the 4Fun site, for the joy of all the racers in deep trouble with their racing lines. Encouraged by the large number of visits to his tutorials and his YouTube page, Kinay decided then to become a full-time YouTuber, doing ASMR videos that let thousands of sleepless people all over the world relax by listening to the roaring engines of his setupped cars. Fully engaged with his new work, Kinay was able to race only once with the Octavia – getting the first place of course. He couldn’t anyway show what he did on practice in Poznan, where he has a personal best of 17 seconds and 2 tenths.
Dario Bucalo and Gianluca Roncaglia also tried to become rich and famous, but by performing as comedians. In a Tor Poznan race, after getting respectively the pole and the third place in the starting grid, Laurel Roncaglia and Hardy Bucalo started the funnies: Roncaglia shutted the door to Bucalo at start after turn 1 and broke his headlight, Bucalo returned the favor several laps later by gently bumping Roncaglia on the outside of turn 3. After the race they jumped off the car and in front of the speechless spectators started a pie fight, which ended in a draw by exhaustion. Applause!
While Roncaglia spent the rest of the week on sending Blu-ray special editions with the footage of his two wins with the Octavia to all his friend and acquaintances (second overall place in the ranking for him), Bucalo had to face constant bad luck day after day. He not only played bumper cars with Roncaglia: on his first race in Poznan he forgot his wallet home and couldn’t tank his car, being forced to a pit stop; and in his second try he disconnected few laps before the end while in first position (we will not refere his words after the disconnection here since this is an all ages site). Bucalo had at least his revenge with a clean 2nd place in Poznan, and above all with a wonderful race (a clean 8th place) with the Panda in Modena, done in a videocall with his brother engaged in his first race in SRS on server 2 (welcome aboard, Mauro!). Dario’s girlfriend and Dario and Mauro’s father also watched the race, with Bucalo Brothers’ father giving them simultaneously tips on when to change gear or how to approach a turn, repeatedly screaming that he could have done better than them even on foot. The simracing passion burned then in the Bucalo entourage, with father, girlfriend and even some relatives and neighbours that decided to buy a wheel and register in SRS. Now that’s what we can call a 4Fun Family!
And after the big fun, then comes a moment of struggle and pain, since it’s time to gather all the forces and strenghts for listing Matteo Venuti’s results of the week. Well… wait a minute! Venuti wrote an article with all the results of all the series, so there’s no need for the list! Thanks a lot, Matteo! Then, with the spare time, your loyal Editor will be able to do things like, say, learning the Russian language, or starting for a cruise all around the world, relaxing with the latest Ferrari 355 ASMR video of Omer Kinay in his headphones. Hooray, and good night!
