The 2nd week of this new season is over, so here it is the weekly recap!
PORSCHE 718 RS 60 SPYDER β Putnam Park (US)
In a race haunted by some crazy penalties on this track, Michal Janak came out as the winner of the 2nd round of the Roundel Racing Porsche 718 Championship! A really difficult race for him, who had to defende from Jari Penttinen and Ted Hough, whose were under a second from the winner. 4th place for Rob Russo, ahead of Riley Gallardo, who got a ridicolous penalty, the same as Jason Jones. This is a really big turnaround for the championship, with Janak now 1st in the standings with 200 points, 14 ahead of Jason Jones. 3rd place for Jari Penttinen, with 182 points, 3 more than Riley Gallardo. 5th there’s Ted Hough, with a 5 points gap from Riley. The next round will be at the New Jersey Motorsport Park!

Tim Jones wins the Paul Ricard race! An excellent performance for the British, who won in front of its compatriots Stuart Gomm, 2 incidents, and Michael Martin. Just out of the podium, Eduardo Cavalcanti and David Iglesias, who were doing a nice battle on the last few minutes of the race. The championship is still led by Martin, who has a 13 points gap on Cavalcanti. 8 points behind him, Iglesias who right now has an incident average of 1.5. 4th place for Stuart Gomm, 8 points ahead of Nicholas Hall. Next week the Hondas will race at Most!

David Broomhead is the winner of the race at Kemora! Lots of pressure from Jason Jones, in a track where overtakes were harder than the usual. The gap between them was just 0.3 seconds. 3rd place for Niklas Rauch, who made a contact with Jason in the opening stages of the race. 4th place for Michal Janak, back in the front pack after a messy first race at the classic Silverstone. 5th Antonio Massad. Riley Gallardo wins the Silverstone race! A classic optimal race for him, ended with an 8 seconds gap on Luke Bouwmeester. P3 for him, who ended 15 seconds ahead of Rick Longano. 5th place for Wesley Chan. The championship seems to offer a good fight between Riley and Luke, 6 points between them. Then 3rd again John Krahne, but with 15 points of difference. The fight for the 4th place between Sean Seebran and Rick Longano is open, just 1 point is separating them. The 2nd race, well, was just some demonstration of superiority by Mostafa Moradi, who in 20 minutes won with a stunning 53 seconds gap on, once again, Paratore and Max Spied. Moradi won with “just” 33 seconds, despite a crash with a backmarker in the last few minutes, on Jorge Caro Almohalla, and 1 minute on Tomasz I Novak. The championship is just a matter of fact between Moradi and Di Maggio, tied with 3 and 2 wins at 201 points. 3rd place for Almohalla, who has 11 points more than Max Spied. 5th place for Troy Beachem, 18 points behind P4.
