3rd 4Fun Team Championship – Week 3 Report
Well, in the end sunrays are beaming also in Canada for the third week of the 4Fun Team Championship! The snow melted all over the place while in Italy people not racing in Vallelunga and in Mugello are already on the beaches – of course keeping the proper social distance. So wear on your sunglasses and take a tanning look to the week results!
Peugeot 106 Rallye Series – Weekly Report
Wow, they’re getting serious! Once again the Team Havoline guys are dominating the field with an astounding performance: 113 pts. – that’s huge for a team result – six wins, two second and a third place out of nine races for the Slo(Cars)Bros Michal “Slow” Janak (110,5 pts.) and Matheus “Even Slower” Nolli (114,5 pts.), getting also a bunch of fast laps and the MVP (“Monster Vallelunga Peugeot”) of the week with Matheus. Well, if they go on like this all the opponents will lay in the sun by the swimming pool watching their races on the SRS YouTube channel, what’s the use of getting on track? Congrats, guys, Havolines have winning lines! On second place, rapidly stepping to the evolution top and probably on their way to become X-Men or something like that, the Evolution Racing guys (102 pts.) are getting stronger every day and get their job done thanks to Juan “Magneto” Medina (102,5 pts., fast laps and a win) and Pablo “Wolverine” Villarroel (101 pts., also fast laps and three second places). The evolution is a slow process and it’s perfect for slow cars, so be ready for the next slow challenges! On third place, always fighting for the top but taking a little step back, the 4Fun Sim Racing duo (100 pts.), getting their usual dividends from Matteo “Former Italian Barrichello” Venuti (105 pts., almost copycutting his last week’s results) and the usual bunch of second places from Gianluca “2nd” Roncaglia (95 pts.), taking his time to read the meaning of the word “clutch” on the dictionary (tip: is after “clumsy” and before “moroon”).
On fourth place, once again only few points far from the podium, the GentDrivers guys (98 pts.), getting a stunning two-on-two from Roman “Emperor” Bisanz (106 pts.) and also a very good racing week from Lars Mars (99 pts. and a win) and Abdon Socias (88 pts.), while Simon Speth, Christopher Myles and Tim Masson were revising how to properly wear a smoking on a premiere evening. Fifth place for the always fighting Albion guys of HR Racing team (96 pts.), showing excellent and exquisite performances from Andrew “Nick” Roberts (96,5 pts.) and Nicholas “Andy” Hall (95 pts.) – well, it’s a very noble and skilled ranking table, isn’t it? On sixth place, the afterhour parties addicts of the Hot Wheels team (63 pts.) relying on the shoulders of Stefano “One Man Band” Galeazzo (76 pts. with one race) – it is rumored that the rest of the team is still partying and drinking gasoline after running out of everything else, but no official confirmation so far. Well, just in case keep some gasoline left for the upcoming races, guys!
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Series – Weekly Report
No news and surprises on the top spots for the Porsche series: fast drivers remain fast, indeed! Once again on the first step of the podium the ever changing in winning TradePriceCars team (102 pts.), although with no wins and with only two active racers. Alex “Lead” Leif (104 pts.) and Simon “Speed” Speth (100,5 pts.) took advantage of their fast laps on the board to firmly hold the first place – damn freaky aliens! -, while David Iglesias and Sergio Mendez were working on their plan to conquer the Earth. The second place, with 95 pts., goes as stated to the Full Send Racing guys: three of a kind turning into a full thanks to Jason “Roadrunner” Jones (107 pts., a win and fast laps), Giuseppe “TNT Acme” D’Andrea (89,5 pts.) and Colin “Chil E. Coyote” Chilibeck (89 pts.). Jones is also the MVP (“Mugello Via Porsche”) of the week, well done! And on third place, the first surprise of the week thanks to the harsh and fiendish Finnish Härsi Team (86 pts.), taking a giant leap forward with Mikko “Eerie” Eerola (92,75 pts., a win and a spot on the fast laps board), nicely supported by Ilmari “Italo” Ylitalo (79,75 pts. with some troubled races), while Samuli Kakko took a pause for the week since he had to water his garden. Well done, guys, more cold racing from the North to come!
On fourth place, with 83 pts., time for the Team Havoline guys, having their line to good results with Matheus Nolli (98 pts. and a win), Michal “What Is That 78 in My Results?” Janak (84 pts.), Juan Alberdi (78 pts.) and Eduardo Odriozola (73,67 pts.), on the same results trend of the past week but ready to get a twist on the last weeks of the championship. Fifth place, with only 1 point less, for the GentDrivers team (82 pts.), getting as usual amazing results from Roman Bisanz (96,67 pts., and two wins) with the support of Christopher “Miles” Myles (87,75 pts. on four races) and Abdon Socias (62 pts. and only one race), while Tim Masson and Lars Mars took an educate rest for the week. And once again some disappointing results on sixth place, with an ex aequo. The PleasePushMe guys (68 pts.) are struggling on taking off, and had also less races this week, since Simone Pinto took some days off and Nicolò “Back in Time” Bachetti (70 pts.) raced only once, leaving the lead to Stefano “Cigarette” Casamonti (71,5 pts.). Well, guys, we all can’t wait to see you back fighting for the top places on track! And, after sending our greetings to the Evolution Racing team guys, dropping the Porsche competition due to lack of time – thanks to Pablo and Juan for participating, see you on the Peugeot series and on the next Team Championship edition! – time to close the door and turn off the lights with the 4Fun Sim Racing guys (68 pts.), once again getting one win on one race with Matteo “Paganini” Venuti (81 pts.) and a magnificent 55 pts. result with Dario “Racing? What Racing?” Bucalo, now once again back in Iowa for a deserved relax time after the 4Fun GP managing fatigues. Well, the trend in points earned for the team is slolwly improving, be ready to see the 4Fun on top – accordingly – in less than 10 years!
Thanks again for watching, stay tuned and see you all on track in Calabogie and in Donington for more fights to come!
