An excellent performance for him, who won in front of Tim Jones and David Iglesias, taking the lead of the championship from the hands of Michael Martin, who ended 5th behind Joel Pacteau. Michal Janak had a terrible race, after some really unlucky crashes in the midfield. It seems that the United Kingdom wanted to invade the top spots of this championship Gomm is 1st, 9 points ahead of Michael Martin. 3rd place for Tim Jones, ahead of Nicholas Hall and Michal Janak, far with 388 points. GT3 ASIA – Nurburgring Nordschleife (DE)
Gentleman, a short view back to the past. Last week, I told you “Next week we will see new bans, since the races are going to be done at the Green Hell, Nordschleife!”. A week later, I regret saying this. “Only” 4 drivers got the 1-week ban this week, less than the average Nordschleife weeks. This week the main protagonist was Thomas Muller, who seems to love racing at the Nordschleife. In the championship, Victor Solanes is 1st with 19 points more than Juan seijas, who passed John Gibson, mainly for his bad performances this week. 4th place for Lars Erik Christensen, in front of Gerbrandt van der Merwe. Next week Calabogie will hosts the final races of the Asian GT3 championship!
This week’s winner were: Thomas Muller (Mclaren, x5) – Oliver Haecke (Mercedes, x1) – Sergio Coelho (Mercedes, x1)
Thomas Muller aka Nordschleife #1 fan
GT3 AMERICA – Daytona Road Course (US)
At Daytona nothing changed for the usual podium finishers, wiht Ethan Dean winning the Friday race in front of Estefano Barrera Rodriguez and EMiliano Videla. Then in the second race Ethan didn’t race, leaving to Estefano his 2nd championship win , in front of Videla, with 2 incidents, and Ramiro Dominguez in P3. In the championship Dean is obviously 1st with 507 points, 12 more than Rodriguez. 3rd at 471 points there’s Emiliano, who has a pretty safe gap coming to the last week of the season of 17 points on Pasha Paterson. His gap by the way is not so safe, since he has only 6 points more than John Krahne. Next week the races will be done at Road Atlanta!
Ethan Dean winning a race, as usual
