FWD vs RWD Cup has a Winner!
The 4 weeks of the FWD vs. RWD Cup has come to an end and we have one winner, indeed, more winners!
8 races took place in 4 different tracks, where different drivers challenged each other, where quantity may be lacking but never quality!
On the Mas Du Clos track we witnessed a domination by the drivers Nicolò Bachetti (Abarth) and Simone Pinto (Mazda) of the PleasePushMe Team, who respectively won race 1 and race 2.
The domination of Nicolò Bachetti then continued also on the German track of Norisring where he scored a sweep, scoring the best times in qualifying and the race and winning both races.
The supremacy of the Abarths, however, ended in the U.S.A., where Matteo Venuti and Jason Jones won with their Mazdas in New Jersey Motorsports Park. Jason also sets the best laptimes of the weekend, setting the pace for everyone.
Just when Nicolò Bachetti already saw the checkered flag and was looking forward to the champagne, his absence left the way open to Matteo Venuti who, among the city streets of the Highlands, under the moonlight, between a wall and another (literally!) managed to take home 2 victories useful to get the title of Winner of the FWD vs. RWD Cup!
But besides the material winner we also have the moral winner who accompanied us for these 4 weeks, between overtaking and off-roading, adrenaline and laughter, and it’s the FUN!
Thank you all for participating and see you at the next appointments.
