SRS Season 2021.7 Week 3 Recap
Half of the season is already gone, and here we go for the recap of the third week!
SHELBY COBRA SC427 โ Silverstone Classic ๐ฌ๐ง
A chaotic start of the race, who saw two of the championship contenders losing loads of positions, brought to Robert Duplantier his first win of the championship! Just 8 tenths behind him there’s Michal Janak, who didn’t get the chance to overtake him. 3rd place for an amazing Jari Penttinen, who was taken out at the start and after that he made some beautiful moves on the other drivers. 4th place for Rob Russo, ahead of Erik Axelsson who, like Penttinen, made an wonderful comeback from the back of the grid. After this race Duplantier leads the championship, 5 points ahead of Penttinen. Then there’s the same gap between the Finn and Axelsson. 10 points behind him sits Janak, who has just 2 more than Rob Russo in 5th.

Third place for Victor Guilherme, who was second for the majority of the race, just to lose some position at the end. He had a good fight with Jay Gabriel on the last few laps. 5th place for Rob Russo.
